Congratulations to the winners of the Navarro Council of the Arts 21st Annual Youth Art Show. This year's theme was "All-American Man-Made Monuments." Jurors for the contest were professional artists, Deb Miller and Tim Pattison. Students were judged in three categaroies: elementary (Pre K-4th), middle school (5th-8th), and high school. There were over 225 entries. Cash awards will be given to the first, second, and third place winners in each category during a reception to be held, April 30th at 4pm in the Warehouse Gallery.

It's time to prepare the senior video! Please submit 3-5 pictures of your senior by Wednesday, May 15th.

If you placed an ad in the yearbook for your senior and haven't submitted your pictures and/or text, please do that ASAP - the deadline was Friday, May 3rd.

Yearbook has also requested a photo to include on the senior pages along with the formal senior pictures, senior quotes and senior superlatives. You may submit that photo along with the ones for the senior video - please just make a note of the one you'd like to use for the yearbook.

Mrs. Abshire's class is jumping with excitement over their newly published classroom book, "It's A Beautiful World". Through hard work researching, creating rough drafts, editing, final drafts, and one of a kind illustrations the students published their very own classroom book. The book is absolutely perfect!

All after school activities for Wednesday, April 17th have been cancelled due to the threat of severe weather.

Blooming Grove ISD is now utilizing a NEW system to make online payments for your students’ meals. We will no longer be using My School Bucks so you will be unable to make payments with your old account effective Wednesday, March 27th. All account balances through My School Bucks, both negative and positive, will be rolled over to Titan (our new system) on Friday, March 29th.
You must go to https://family.titank12.com and make a new account in order to continue making payments towards your students’ meals. You can also submit a meal application through TITAN School Solutions for the current school year. Click on “Sign up today!” to begin the process of making a new account and be sure to have the following information to successfully link your student(s) to your account:

Our BG yearbook staff are offering special senior recognition ads. We are providing detailed information and an order form. The deadline is Friday, April 12th.
Here's what you need to know....

We invite all junior class parents to a meeting in the high school library on Thursday, April 11th, beginning at 6:00 PM to discuss preparations for prom. Prom is Saturday, April 20th at the Corsicana Country Club.

We are very excited to announce that our BGHS One Act Play performance of "Nell Gwynn" advanced to area competition on Friday, March 22nd. They will perform on Wednesday, April 3rd at Midway ISD. Congratulations to the following performers who received individual awards:

BGISD encourages JH and HS parents to attend our Drug Awareness Presentation for Parents presented by the Navarro County Sheriff's Department. Tuesday, April 2nd at 6:30 PM in the auditorium.

Bus #17-1 and #17-2 that pick up and drop off at the Navarro County Youth Expo will pick up and drop off during the week of the NCYE (March 25-29) at the Westhill Church of Christ at 3400 W. Hwy 22.
