Art students visited the Kimbell Art Museum for a self-directed tour of the permanent collection. Students were asked to select one piece that they liked the most, pose for a photo with that artwork, and then write a short reflection about why they picked that piece. Our student artists had no trouble finding artwork that spoke to them and their selections were wonderful! Thank you to our chaperones Ms. Coward, Mrs. Granthem, Mrs. Paschal, and Mrs. Taylor for helping us have a wonderful day at the art museum.
Winners have been selected for the Congressional Art Competition sponsored by Congressman Jake Ellzey. While the Congressional Institute only allows for one winner to be displayed in Washington DC for the year, Congressman Ellzey's office wanted to mention some of the other entries that were deserving of recognition.
