Blooming Grove Staff and Community, 

Last night, the Blooming Grove ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the adoption of the 2025-2026 instructional calendar. After extensive planning and community surveys, three calendar options were presented to the Board. Staff and community feedback strongly supported continuing with a hybrid four-day instructional week, while transitioning to a more consistent schedule throughout the year.

The district recommended and the Board approved Calendar Option C, which includes five-day instructional weeks at the beginning of the semester, with four-day instructional weeks beginning the week of September 29th and continuing for the remainder of the school year.

To accommodate this schedule, the school day will be adjusted as follows:

• Elementary: 7:30 a.m. – 3:49 p.m.
• Junior High/High School: 7:40 a.m. – 3:59 p.m.

These additional instructional minutes allow us to implement more four-day weeks while maintaining the required instructional time for our students.
