Overnight trip for both 9th and 10th graders we will go look at Texas A&M University and the Rellis Campus and tour Blinn. We will stay overnight and on the second day do the Texas A&M Challenge course. This trip is full however we have students cancel last minute. If your child might be interested send an email to Lisa Grantham.
June 7,8,9
9th Grade trip to Austin/San Antonio. We will tour the Capital and visit the George Carver Museum. Tour the University of Texas.
On Day 2 we will arrive in San Antonio and tour the University of San Antonio. Tour the natural bridge caverns and the Alamo and enjoy a river cruise.
On Day 3 we will Tour Texas State University in San Marcos and enjoy a guided tour on the Glass Bottom Boat at the meadows center.

June 14-16
10th grade Houston/Galveston trip. This trip is full but I will make a waiting list in case someone cancels.
Day 1- Tour Sam Houston and Lone star college in Montgomery Tx. Visit the Downtown Aquarium in Houston and then have dinner.
Day 2- Tour A&M Galveston then visit Moody Gardens and Aquarium and have dinner at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.
Day 3- Tour the University of Houston and Tour the seismique immersive art museum then travel back home.

Tour of the PEROT Museum- Just a fun day to explore the Perot Museum. Lunch is provided as well as on all other trips all meals are paid for and admission. 2 SPOTS STILL OPEN.
June 21
Tour TWU and the Dallas Aquarium. Can be placed on the waitlist.
June 22
Texas State Technical College program tours. We will start with the culinary department and they will bake for us and we get to sample different food items. We will then branch off into other areas students might be interested in such as aviation where they get to practice on the flight simulator or many other areas of interest.

Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) is a partnership grant between the ESC Region 12 and Blooming Grove ISD. The goal is to increase the graduation rate, academic performance, and knowledge of postsecondary options.
